THE VISION
To create a space inspired by southwest design. A space that would fit naturally into the stunning landscape of canyons, mountains, buttes, gorges, slot canyons and deserts. With red adobe tones throughout and green sage trims, we hope as you adventure outside you will transition into our accommodation with ease.
With unique architecture and minimalistic design, Quiet Shelter's tranquil adobe style home is within easy reach of Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon National Parks. Sitting on 2.4 acres of desert landscape, it's our pleasure to host you for a romantic getaway, creative retreat, or adventure basecamp. Every detail is curated with love. Quiet Shelters Adobe Retreat is filled with found objects holding stories and histories. We try to reuse, repurpose, buy local, and buy handmade where we can. From an old bench turned coffee table, handmade family pottery, handmade linen sofa covers from Ukraine, locally made room spray, and host made cement side tables, we hope you can feel the presence of special and unique. We believe items radiate their stories.

The Rituals
Grab your cup of coffee at dawn and sit in our rock table courtyard. The rising sun turns the sandstone butte behind our property a dazzling pink. In the afternoons lounge and BBQ in the shaded east patio with glimpses of the continuing Southern Utah desert. Meditate as you walk on the gravel pathways around the casita, or continue off the property onto public land trails behind the house. Request an in home massage for therapeutic relaxation. Being a "dark sky city", stargazing is a must as night sets in.

We intend to make your stay comfortable and worry free. Quiet Shelters Adobe Retreat is equipped with kitchen essentials, Wolf appliances, a 1/2 sub zero drawer refrigerator, eco friendly washer and dryer, fresh linens and towels, high end body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, curated library of books and records, bbq, and more. If you find you are in need of anything during your stay we are happy to accommodate.
